I’ve been listening to the value investing podcast series from John Mihaljevic, CFA for a month or so now and find the material original and insightful. The podcasts are highly thought provoking and a good resource to keep challenging and evolving my own investment philosophies.
The latest one (2nd Oct 2015) in which John interviews former investment and portfolio manager of JPMorgan private bank Christopher Pavese was particularly good and I thought it worth sharing here.
Christopher talks about many frames of thought related to value investing, among which Sherlock Holmes (and Watson’s) dynamics and thought processes and Daniel Kahneman’s “Fast and Slow Thinking” are key features.
